In today’s episode of Mediterranean Bonsai i make a beautiful vine bonsai from a local grape variety of Aegean sea islands! A vine bonsai from the local red grape Mandilaria!

Mandilaria (Greek: Μαντηλαριά) is a red Greek wine grape variety that is grown throughout the Greek Isles. The grape is often used as a blending component, producing deeply colored wines that are light bodied.

Mandilaria is also known under the synonyms Amorgiano, Koudoura Mavri, Vaftra, Mandilari, Pariano, which there are just a few of the local names of this red Greek grape.
