Wisteria in bloom and Spring Update – Bonsai Tonight

In lieu of a regular post this week, I wanted to share an image of a wisteria in bloom.

Sam Bryan did a fantastic job creating this tree that continues to produce flowers and refined branching every year. (If you’re curious about how the tree is trained, see “Developing branches on Chinese wisteria” for details.)

In other news, cut paste and aluminum bonsai wire are back in stock on the Indian Bonsai Art online store. In the coming weeks, catalogs from Japanese exhibits and bonsai soil – including akadama and bonsai pre-mix – will be available. I’ll have more details in an upcoming post.
